Job Description

A recruitment resourcer is responsible for assisting a senior recruitment consultant to hit sales activity and revenue targets by attracting candidates and matching them to contract or permanent positions jobs with client companies. The jobs may vary from entry-level roles to directors and executives. Recruitment resourcers work with a senior recruitment consultant to gain an in-depth knowledge of the client companies in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. They attract candidates by interrogating and searching the recruitment company's candidate database, drafting advertising copy for use in a wide range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. They screen candidates, interview them, do background checks, and finally match candidates to their clients. A recruitment resourcer role is demanding and diverse and involves: •completing searches of the company candidate database, online candidate databases, relevant job boards and available social media to find the right person for the employer's vacancy; •advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media ; •headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates using social media.; •generation of leads and referrals from candidate searches/calls and client calls. •receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidates; •requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the employer; •briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question ; •preparing CV's and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants ; •organising interviews for candidate as requested by the client; •informing candidates about the results of their interviews; •Performing background checks and gaining references to enable candidates to gain security clearance prior to them starting employment. •Being a point of contact for timesheet queries and general administration support to the companies contractors.
