Senior Recruitment Advisor
Full time, 37.5 hours
TCES Group, is celebrating its twentieth year of delivering high quality education, health and care services to some of the most vulnerable and complex children and young people in London and the South East. We have never permanently excluded a single one of the over three thousand pupils in those twenty years.
We are bound by a social mission to put our talented children at the centre of everything we do and to create ‘School Life Without Labels’ in our inclusive schools and services.
Please apply if you want to join an excellent team to ‘make a ‘real’ difference’.
Our vision is to be recognised as the experts in delivering therapeutic education, health & care solutions for children aged 7-19 years whose complex and often co-morbid Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) have made it difficult for them to achieve success in mainstream education. All schools and services aim to deliver a culture of learning and teaching (COLT) of a very high standard, which motivates, challenges and empowers pupils in small-group settings to build on a platform for life-long learning, leadership, independence and educational success.
TCES Group currently has three Independent Special Schools in West London, East London and Essex. It also has a Create Service which offers therapeutic education, delivered through a case co-ordination model, to pupils who present (or are at) significant risk to themselves or others, and who cannot be educated in a small class setting.
We are ambitious to grow and diversify the range and type of our services to meet the needs of even more children and young people and to turn that ambition into a reality. The success and safety of TCES Group depends on its people and recruiting the right people is at the forefront of everything that we do. To help us to achieve this we are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our HR team to attract the best talent to the business.
You will work collaboratively with the schools and HR Team to provide advice and guidance on all recruitment activity. By proactively managing each recruitment campaign you will assist in attracting and selecting the best candidates utilising the most appropriate methods of attraction and selection, whilst ensuring compliance with our Recruitment and Safeguarding policies and Safer Recruitment guidelines.
With a focus on delivering a positive experience for both Hiring Managers and candidates, you’ll make sure that we are promoting the TCES Group employer brand to recruit the best candidates. You will also work on recruitment related projects under the guidance of the HR Manager.
Essential requirements to be successful in the role are –
* Extensive experience in recruitment, preferably from within an in-house recruitment team or a recruitment agency
* A strong understanding of employment law relating to recruitment and selection
* Experience of writing recruitment adverts
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and persuade
* Resilience and a positive attitude to deliver in a busy, and at times, challenging environment

* Expert advice and support in education, inclusion, clinical, and central functions such as HR, finance, marketing and business development
* A full CPD program including opportunities to undertake professional qualifications, and specialist training from experts in Teaching and Learning, Social Care, and Clinicians
