Our client is a leading legal recruitment business based in the City of London. What does the company do: Our client is a leading legal recruitment business. They are seeking 2 full time legal resourcers to assist their busy and thriving associate division which deals with the recruitment of qualified lawyers for leading UK and US law firms in London. This is a great role for a graduate who is looking to secure a training contract at a City law firm, or a graduate who has already secured a training contract and is looking to do something different within the legal sector in between studying for/completing the LPC and starting their training contract.  The opportunity could also suit a graduate looking for an entry-level position into a recruitment business with the possibility of fast-track progression to a full consultant role. How you expect the candidate to spend their day: Research into the law firm market to help source candidates in a variety of different practice areas, primarily through headhunt calls/cold calls; Mapping and managing the database – loading information and keeping details of candidates up to date and using LinkedIn; Helping consultants prepare for meetings with law firms and with candidates. The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications: An appreciation of how lawyers work and a basic understanding of the different legal practice areas; Some knowledge of the London law firm market; Good manner on the phone and the confidence to make cold-calls; The ability to manage their own workload; and Initiative and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
