This permanent Recruitment Lead position is for someone who is well experienced in recruitment practice and knowledgeable on in-house processes.  Reporting to the Talent & Resource Manager, this role will take a lead on the day to day recruitment activity and projects, guiding a team of 2 Recruitment Coordinators and inputting into the longer term planning of the recruitment function. You will be a dynamic person who is highly knowledgeable and passionate about the recruitment market. Summary of Role This Recruitment Lead will be responsible for reviewing and developing new recruitment practice, lead on recruitment projects, provide solutions to challenging roles and ensure the execution of the recruitment strategy. The Recruitment Lead will manage the recruitment of all senior positions across head office and operational functions and be responsible for the day to day recruitment drive. Key Tasks & Responsibilities As Recruitment Lead your responsibilities will include Lead and oversee the day to day recruitment activity, ensuring the correct practice is applied for a great candidate experience and excellent internal relationships. Be the expert in the recruitment field, guiding, coaching and advising the Coordinators and the wider business on best practice, new techniques, best use of tools and ensure the focus of achievement of key targets. Keeping ahead of best practice, proposing/introducing new developments and process where appropriate. Lead and manage the day to day recruitment projects, providing solutions and keeping all parties informed and updated with regular activity and reports. Conduct market research and analysis, in conjunction with the T&R Manager, to ensure we are optimising resources available and embracing new tools to develop our employer brand, our attraction techniques and increasing our ability to reach key talent. Map external markets and organisations to identify strong sources of candidates for the business. This will include the consideration of alternative recruitment sources. Use a range of sourcing methods and techniques to source high quality candidates for all positions. Engage with candidates throughout full search. For all senior positions provide verbal role descriptions and detailed business information and complete initial screen/telephone interviews. Form strong relationships across the business to increase awareness of recruitment practice and ensure visibility and use of recruitment initiatives. Working closely with hiring managers to produce effective campaigns, advising on the most appropriate methods for sourcing in order to provide the highest quality candidate short lists. Manage relationships with 3rd parties such as advertising agencies, jobs boards, software providers and recruitment agencies to ensure expectations are communicated to the benefit of the business. Manage recruitment activity to achieve the specific targets set for the team, ensuring these are achieved and support the business in developing their recruitment procedures. Report and present on key statistics. Examples of targets include; reduction in permanent and temporary agency spend, time to hire and candidate process management. Provide regular reports for the team, identifying areas for focus to improve the statistics and spend. Administrative work as required - ATS management, scheduling interviews, producing reports and documents for interview. Skills, Experience and Qualifications To join us in this new position of Recruitment Lead, we will look for Experienced recruiter across a variety of disciplines Evidence of strong stakeholder management Leadership on new recruitment initiatives Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Experience in a multi-site organisation/catering and hospitality field will be a benefit The role will be required to produce reporting packs / presentations to demonstrate recruitment challenges and progress and therefore strong reporting and Microsoft Office experience is a must. Hours Full time position, 37.5 hours Why it’s great to work for us: As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £36,000, per annum, dependent on experience,  plus 10% annual bonus eligibility.  Holidays 28 days (including Bank Holidays) and increasing to 31 days after 3 years’ service, life assurance, colleague pension enrolment and subsidised lunches.
