We are looking for an exceptional person to work across three very different businesses, offering significant exposure to multiple industries. You will be working closely with a highly entrepreneurial founder / director – providing assistance across every aspect of a business from Sales and Marketing, Logistics, General Admin and more. The three businesses are: Miller McKenzie – the leading recruitment consultancy for the Timber and Forest Products sectors across the UK and around the world. We specialise in recruiting high performing individuals in Sales, Marketing, Operational, General Management, Supply Chain and Executive positions, working exclusively with Importers, Distributors, Manufacturers and Merchants. Within this area you will: • Assist directors with major projects across the UK and internationally. • CV proofreading, cleansing, formatting and improvement. • Document control and database management. • Arranging meetings between clients and candidates. • Research using online and offline methods. • Answer telephones and act as first point of contact. Pelotan – a start up sun protection brand aimed at cyclists. Launching in Summer 2018, Pelotan is aiming to become a major player in the global cycling industry and is already working closely with major design agencies, clothing brands, media and publications, events and professional teams. Within this area you will: • Manage marketing campaigns, online and offline • Manage social media platforms • Assist the directors with all sales and marketing campaigns globally • Act as point of contact with external logistics businesses to ensure fast fulfilment of orders • Manage consumer queries • Develop relationships at all areas of the industry ALMA + KIN – this is a pop up restaurant / supper club / private dining offer in uphill Lincoln. After a series of sell out events in 2017, ALMA + KIN have ran a series of pop up restaurants at Lincoln Castle, offering a 10 course tasting menu to guests from across the City. All events have sold out and demand is incredibly high for future events. Within this area you will: • Manage marketing campaigns, online and offline • Manage social media platforms • Assist in the running of events at Lincoln Castle and other venues as required • Liaise with media to continue brand development This role is incredibly flexible but in summary we need to hire someone with a ‘can do’ attitude with an entrepreneurial and highly organised mindset. You are likely to: • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional literacy skills and general command of English language is essential. • Have good attention to detail • Be methodical and take thorough approach to work • Have an extremely organised nature. Good at juggling tasks and prioritising • Be a great team player • Have a desire to show initiative and be keen to learn • Be tactful and articulate, comfortable talking to people from all walks of life The role would suit a graduate or someone with experience in a commercial environment looking for something more interesting to get their teeth stuck into. Office based in uphill Lincoln with opportunity to work from home occasionally once established. Package negotiable depending on experience.
