Recruitment consultants provide a vital link between clients and candidates, ensuring we are perceived as the agency of choice. The role is demanding and diverse and involves: RESPONSIBILITIES * Managing your desk professionally, in an organised and structured manner to achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs. * Generating new business by identifying prospect opportunities and converting sales leads to increase sales activity. * Using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniques to attract business from clients. * Visiting both new and existing clients to build and develop credible relationships. * Developing a good understanding of client requirements and identifying any gaps between client expectation and the service being delivered, ensuring their resourcing needs are met. * Supporting the attraction of candidates and the recruitment and selection process. * Effectively support the management of the mobile workforce to ensure a stable and reliable workforce. * Negotiating pay rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates. * Ensuring you work within pricing policies so your branch achieves budget and growth expectations. * Supporting in the effective operation of the on-call rota. * Working closely with management and colleagues to ensure the branch achieves and delivers its objectives, seeing a year on year growth of sales revenue. HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE * You will ensure you are fully compliant with Company policies and procedures ensuring minimum audit scores are exceeded. * You will ensure safe systems of working are in place and promote safe working practices with all stakeholders * It is expected you will work within both internal and external compliance and Quality Assured systems. * You are expected to maintain an up to date knowledge of legislation ensuring full compliance from all stakeholders inclusive of Safeguarding, DBS and all relevant legislation. * You will ensure a clean, tidy and safe working environment for all stakeholders ensuring materials and equipment are handled, stored, transported and maintained safely along with also ensuring that you and your are aware of First Aid and Fire procedures. * Escalations for business, operational, managerial, legal and strategic requirements are made by you in a timely manner to line management or relevant reporting bodies inline with Company Procedure. PERSONAL SPECIFICATION * Self motivated and able to identify opportunities. * Tenacious and resilient. * Ambitious, driven and determined to meet targets and objectives. * Able to multitask, prioritise a demanding workload and work towards and within deadlines. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Customer focused, professional and able to present yourself in a manner that best represents the business. * Able to work collaboratively whilst having the ability to delegate where necessary. * Awareness of safe practices within the sector, demonstrating a willingness to gain a fuller understanding of the sector where necessary. * Competent in all IT packages relevant to the role. * Full, clean UK driving licence.
