Are you ready to be part of the company? Principal Duties Undertaking daily Recruitment and other HR tasks. Providing administrative support and delivering excellent customer service in order to continually improve service delivery. This is a key role across the trust in that it will lead on recruitment administration for all vacancies, ensuring accurate information is posted, that safer recruitment processes are followed and excellent customer service provided. Recruitment Administration Responsible for administering the end to end recruitment process from first point of contact through to conditional offer. Working closely with the Trust Recruitment platforms/partners to complete both external and internal recruitment primarily through online recruitment. Ensure a strong candidate experience with clear communication and feedback throughout the recruitment cycle. * Maintaining and developing agreed recruitment process/standards * Delivering a strong candidate experience and strong in house recruitment support to Line Managers * Maintaining appropriate tools and processes to support recruitment best practices and effective delivery/support to recruiting managers. * Maintain recruitment/vacancies spreadsheet. Regularly updating internal stakeholders on progress. * Maintain recruitment agency spreadsheet and develop relationships with recruitment partners/agencies for cost effective rates and terms. * Schedule and coordinate all interview and assessment activity. * Ensure safer recruitment practices are followed including drafting adverts, advertising both internal and external vacancies and promoting equal opportunities. HR Administration * Complete vetting of new staff where requested, ensuring that all safer recruitment checks are carried out and updated on relevant systems * Respond to requests for information, advice and support for managers and staff in a timely manner in line with HR service standards * Acknowledging requests, dealing with them or passing them on to other HR team members as appropriate. * Undertake the administration of new starters, leavers and variations to contract * Complete administration of other HR duties e.g. absence/leave processing, induction, probation and annual reviews, payroll processing, exit interview forms, staff records etc. Other Duties * Participate in joint projects and activities where required and provide general HR support and cover * Contribute to training and development activities as required * Maintain knowledge of current employment legislation and professional best practice * Ensure that safeguarding requirements are met in carrying out post responsibilities * Ensure that confidentiality is maintained in all HR and recruitment matters * Be aware of and comply with the Trust’s policies and procedures, including those relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection Experience and Knowledge * Proven knowledge and experience in the application of all aspects of IT (Microsoft Office) including email, spreadsheets, databases and word processing * Genuine interest in and willingness to explore the potential of different software packages to improve practices * Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative role * Maintaining effective and accurate office/administrative/HR systems, records and procedures * Experience of high volumes of work and ability to work consistently under pressure, managing workload, prioritising and meeting deadlines * Handling Confidential data Aptitudes & Abilities * Ability to think logically with rapid and accurate data input skills * Ability to handle confidential information appropriately * Ability to take and enforce routine decisions within the policy structure and HR guidelines * Ability to plan, organise and administer recruitment processes/activity with effective communication * Ability to show initiative, learn new techniques and work independently * Good interpersonal skills, discretion, tact and diplomacy, able to establish effective working relationships * Ability to multi - task & provide a proactive customer focused service * Sound time management and prioritisation skills * A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative, motivation, trust and loyalty If you wish to apply for the position of Recruitment and HR Administrator, please click apply.
