Job Description

Key Duties: • Respond to all telephone enquiries. • Provide line Managers with administration support throughout the recruitment process. • To assist in the maintenance of the staffing/establishment register. • Review and manage the re-deployment register before advertising new vacancies. • Make arrangements for disabled candidates to complete on equal terms throughout the recruitment process by ensuring all reasonable adjustments are taken as identified. • Advise and assist Managers with the preparation of adverts and job specifications. • Prepare advertisements, ensuring compliance to regulatory and legislation requirements, taking into consideration previous advertising campaigns to ensure cost-effective media. • Monitor and handle the response of each advert, including a review of the advertising agency in line with our SLA. • Prepare contracts of employment for all new staff within the group and operating companies. • Ensure all pre-employment checks are carried out to Affinity Sutton standards as set out. Advise Managers of concerns raised through any of the pre-employment checks. • Publish vacancies to the corporate intranet and websites. • Liaise with Cohesion to source temporary workers as required within the business. • Ensure all permanent new members of staff have a 6 month probationary period and that managers are contacted and advised on the probationary period for their staff. • In line with the policy support Managers and arrange probationary meetings and send letters to staff extending probations/confirming appointments. • Scanning and data inputting to systems as required. • Attendance at conference, seminars, courses and exhibitions as required. Essential Requirements: • Experience of working in a an HR or Recruitment department • Proven administrative experience (Able to maintain administrative systems, databases and procedures) • Previous experience in a recruitment role, either in-house or in an agency (minimum 2 years) • Experience of using HR systems/databases • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; • A professional telephone manner; • High attention to detail; • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft packages; • Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent English grammar. • Recent experience in a recruitment role, either in house or for an agency
