Job Description

HR Assistant / HR Administrator (Recruitment Focused) required for exciting opportunity with global leader in design and manufacturer of packaging related machinery for food industry. The business supports the majority of the worlds leading food manufacturers, the business have global manufacturing facilities and have been established for over 100 years leading the way in product innovation for packaging related machinery to the food industry.  As the HR Assistant / HR Administrator you will be the central contact for the hiring managers, recruitment agencies and external applicants, based in the UK HQ, and to liaise with all departments at all levels in order to influence and action recruitment requirements. Main Purpose of the HR Assistant / HR Administrator: To support the busy and fast-paced recruitment team in providing first class administrative support and superior candidate care to prospective hires. Primary Responsibilities of the HR Assistant / HR Administrator: To support the overall recruitment process for all Head Office and Overseas vacancies by: - Acting as the initial point of contact for the recruitment team (internal and external) - Building relationships and working closely with Hiring Managers regarding recruitment - Ensuring the recruitment campaign and process moves along efficiently and to deadline - Carrying out general administrative, record keeping and data collection - Ensuring job descriptions/person specifications are completed - Updating and advertising current job vacancies - Organising interviews and managing diaries - Preparing contracts and starter packs for new-starters - Follow up on and complete all pre-employment checks Person Specification of the HR Assistant / HR Administrator: - Previous recruitment experience, or administrative experience with a strong interest in recruitment - An engaging, enthusiastic and friendly attitude - Utilises own initiative at every opportunity - Have the confidence to make suggestions and put forward ideas - Confident in approach to work - Must be able to multi task and prioritise workload effectively - Ability to work under pressure towards deadlines - Strong organisational and time management skills - Must be able to build relationships internally as well as externally - Ability to prioritise workload
