Job Description

To lead and develop the recruitment strategy for Mears Care to allow the business to grow and develop in your local area . The primary purpose of the role is to take a proactive lead on the recruitment of Care Workers and Health Care Workers, but may involve recruitment in other areas of the country if and when required. To support the service to develop a recruitment strategy to attract candidates and to support the service in the recruitment process at all levels To also implement strategies for new services and contract wins and support the overall implementation plan with clear responsibility for the recruitment and support of this strand. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ---------------------------------------------------- * Responsible to the Regional Managing Director for Mears Care and has responsibility for the recruitment of care and support staff domiciliary support) and more complex continuing healthcare services whilst, at the same time as ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements. * Support and assist local Operations and Branch Managers in the on-going development of the recruitment plan, identifying opportunities and meeting growth targets * Establish and develop brand presence from a recruitment perspective to ensure the appropriate local brand identity and profile * Ensuring the business achieves the objectives and targets specified in the overall objectives for the Mears Group * Ensure recruitment targets for the service are met or exceeded. * Responsible to the Regional Managing Director for Mears Care for ensuring the recruitment of quality workers and that compliance targets are met at all levels as specified by regulatory bodies, contractual obligations and Mears Group standards. KEY TASKS ---------------------------------------------------- Deliver strategic objectives and targets with a particular focus on recruitment excellence, growth to support overall operational management requirements. Ensure excellent relationships internally and with Branch, Regional and Clinical Case Managers, Care Coordinators and teams and also external stakeholders (Job Centres, Colleges etc) and where required networking across the care sector to develop further recruitment opportunities. Support the Service team to ensure achievement of KPI’s for recruitment . Meet or exceed recruitment targets (Key Performance Indicators) for the business. Co-ordinate and produce data to measure recruitment activity and performance, and deliver reports to the Recruitment Manager, Regional Managing Director for Mears Care Head or other Senior Managers within the Mears group. Ensure compliance and administration of care worker / staff files including but not limited to DBS checks, references, qualifications and associated evidence. Provide administrative support to the HR Admin function within the service as and when required. Liaise with the Recruitment Manager as required where recruitment issues dictate **LEGAL RESPONSIBLITIES** Be conversant with the regulations and standards laid down by the Care Quality Commission in Scotland in ensuring that they are adhered to at all times. **** Ensure all regulations and statutory requirements are adhered to.
