Due to our success in 2017, we at Ark Talent are looking to further expand the UK operations in the Life Science market. We are therefore seeking a number of highly enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious individuals to join a team currently undertaking a number of ambitious and rewarding projects designed for both personal and company-wide development. Job Purpose: To perform recruitment activities to create and develop revenue and new client relations in the UK Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology markets in accordance with agreed targets and company policies. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 1. Plan and carry out direct sales activities to prospect clients. 2. Develop accounts with new clients within the UK Scientific sector using various methods of contact. 3. Manage client accounts created to ensure continuous and developing client relationships. 4. Receive permanent roles from customers and fill within agreed time limits. 5. Recruit suitable candidates according to skills and experience to fit client requirements. 6. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through continuous contact. 7. Receive permanent roles from customers and fill within agreed time limits. 8. Recruit suitable candidates according to skills and experience to fit client requirements. 9. Liaise and attend meetings necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development. 10. Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills. 11. Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database through the Ark CRM. Person profile – 360⁰ Recruitment Consultant Personality: An individual with a scientific background, able to focus and adapt to win clients and deliver their requirements to achieve personal and company growth and profitability. A driven individual who will work determinedly to ensure the identification and onboarding of clients. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives and decision makers. Specific Job Skills: Able to influence and negotiate with both clients and candidates. Understands the principles of sales and recruitment, along with a specific or broad-spectrum Scientific foundation of knowledge. Business and Selling Skills: A tailored training plan will be introduced and maintained for three months via a Senior Recruiter, to complement your current skill set. Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator; you will win business via initial telephony, followed up with various methods of further communication. Management Ability: Though internal staff management is not initially part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the business, for example the prospect of working with a resource to ensure you are able to fill vacancies with your clients once you pass capacity. You: BSc (or equivalent) in Life Science subject. Excellent communication and presentation standards. Confidence to initiate contact with potential new clients and individuals up to board level.
